Let's talk about love ♥♥♥

I was in a different mood today and I don’t know why! A kind of sweetness, romantic, thoughtful mood so I was looking for things to read I went to some poetry sites and I decided to put some here but it was really really hard to choose one! I was looking for some about love…why most of the time the loves poems are sooooo sad? :-( It made me get depressed….lol It makes me think….Are there (in life) some happy ending??? I’m sure there are a lot’s of them. I wish I could ready those happy people poems and not just the sad ones :-) much more interesting I think! Sometimes it’s good to feel a kind of sadness, melancholy mood…I don’t know how to explain it, what I know is that once in a while I like to read things like these and think about it…cry…dream…and so on…lol…but not today! Today I want to ready and talk about happy love, about good moments, about hope about waiting for and find the Mr. Right (Are you real or it’s just my imagination?) Anyway…I still haven’t found what I’m looking for…not only on poetry sites but also in life!

Carpe Diem Ó mistress mine, where are you roaming?
Ó stay and hear! your true-love's coming
That can sing both high and low;
Trip no further, pretty sweeting,
Journey's end in lovers' meeting
Every wise man's son doth know.
What is love? 'tis not hereafter;
Present mirth hath present laughter;
What's to come is still unsure:
In delay there lies no plenty,
Then come kiss me, Sweet and twenty,
Youth's a stuff will not endure.
(William Shakespeare)
The Great Pain of Things That Will Happen The great pain of things that will happen
turned into the most exquisite pleasure
when among a thousand photos that were displayed,
I had the grace and fortune of seeing you.
The kisses and the loving that was loved
recklessly from yours and my desire
flowering once again, will shine
in the misty light of daybreak.
The blessed past which was so cruel
and joyful today presents itself as tender
and makes my voice resonate again.
To exalt the resurrected love
that feeds on memory images,
changes the horror into sweetness.
(Carlos Drummond de Andrade )
To a Lady asking him how long he would love her IT is not, Celia, in our power
To say how long our love will last;
It may be we within this hour
May lose those joys we now do taste;
The Blessed, that immortal be,
From change in love are only free.
Then since we mortal lovers are,
Ask not how long our love will last;
But while it does, let us take care
Each minute be with pleasure past:
Were it not madness to deny
To live because we're sure to die?
(Sir George Etherege)
"Love life, live love... Love is part of life. So give love a chance and live your life." (Katie Wiz)
